I love to procrastinate, don’t you?
I have found so many different ways of doing it as well. Making coffee, surfing the internet, watering the plants, making more coffee, putting deadlines in my calendar, scrolling through Instagram… I’ve even been known to do a bit of housework. And I don’t even enjoy housework.
But the fact is, all the time I’m occupied with these seemingly mindless tasks, thoughts and ideas are simmering and percolating in my head. And then I’ll reach my limit. Because if I don’t get the thoughts and ideas on the page in some way shape or form, I start to get a little bit twitchy.
I need to write.
Sometimes I write just for me. Sometimes I write commissions. And sometimes I write in the hope that someone out there will find something in my words that resonates.
